Why Marry?
The New Socialist /American way of Life...

For a guy and his girlfriend with two kids, all you have to do is follow these proven steps:

1. Don't marry her!

2. Always use your mom's address to get your mail.

3. The guy buys a house.

4. The guy rents out the house to his girlfriend with his two kids.

5. Section 8 will pay $900 a month for a 3 bedroom home.

6. Girlfriend signs up for Obamacare, so the guy doesn't have to pay for family insurance.

7. Girlfriend gets to go to college for free for being a single mother.

8. Girlfriend gets $600 a month for food stamps.

9. Girlfriend gets a free cell phone.

10. Girlfriend gets free utilities.

11. The guy moves into the home but continues to use mom's address for his mail.

12. Girlfriend claims one kid and guy claims the other kid on their tax forms. Now both get to claim head of household at $1800 credit.

13. Girlfriend gets $1800 a month disability for having a "bad back" and never has to work again.

This plan is perfectly legal and is being executed now by millions of people!

A married couple with a stay-at-home mom yields $0 dollars.

An unmarried couple with a stay-at-home mom nets $21,600 disability + $10,800 free housing + $6,000 free Obamacare + $6,000 free food+ $4,800 free utilities + $6,000 Pell grant money to spend + $12,000 a year in college tuition free from Pell grant + $8,800 tax benefit for being a single mother = $75,000 a year in benefits!

Any idea why our country is over $20 trillion in debt, half the population is sitting around letting the other half pay their way,
[companies can't find enough employees, and we're now officially and by definition in a recession]?

Lawyers collected millions while secretly acting as NRA fronts for Supreme Court amicus briefs: report

Quote:
According to a comprehensive report for Politico, as the Donald Trump administration with the help of Senate Republicans was ramrodding the nomination of Brett Kavanaugh through his Supreme Court hearings, the top leadership of the National Rifle Association (NRA) were holding meetings at a Westin Hotel where they agreed to allocate funds to back a series of lawsuits they hoped would make it to the court as well as lining up and paying attorneys who would submit friend of the court briefs to boost their chances.

As reporter Will Van Sant wrote, the NRA for decades has been spending millions of dollars in fees and grants to lawyers who would make their case for them without the attorneys divulging who was paying them for their time and efforts.

In many cases, those arguments made their way to the now-conservative majority court.

Case in point, the report notes that gun rights attorney David T. Hardy has been the recipient of the NRA's largesse to the tune of "more than $750,000 since 2002, though the full amount may be higher (the filings detail only a portion of recent grants)," Van Sant wrote before reporting, "A former NRA official familiar with the arrangement who was given anonymity in order to speak candidly, said that in addition to the grants, Hardy was long paid sums directly from the budget of NRA boss Wayne LaPierre, who was the best man at Hardy’s 1982 wedding."

According to the report, Hardy "did not disclose the financial support he has long-received from the NRA," with Van Sant adding, "Hardy’s connection to the NRA is not unique."

"An examination of the 49 pro-NRA amicus briefs filed in Bruen, along with court and IRS filings, shows that over the last two decades, the NRA has given financial support to at least 12 of the groups and individuals who lobbied the court on its behalf," he wrote. "Only one of those 12 briefs disclosed the connection, meaning that neither the justices nor the public were told that 11 of these ostensibly independent voices owed their livelihoods in part to the NRA, the interest group behind the case."

According to the report, Hardy's arguments were well-represented in Justice Clarence Thomas's majority Bruen opinion.

That, in turn, has led to questions about the ethics of hiding the funding for briefs designed to manipulate the opinions of the court's nine justices.

According to Gabe Roth, executive director of Fix the Court, "Reasonable people would question whether justices should be accepting these briefs."

"The amicus engine has a brake — at least in theory. Supreme Court rules require amicus filers to disclose whether any other entity — and especially parties in a case or their attorneys — have made a 'monetary contribution' to the 'preparation or submission' of a brief," the report states. "The 2007 rule, which requires disclosure when funds have been channeled to the amicus filer or its attorneys, was prompted by concerns that litigants were silently financing favorable briefs. Billionaire Robert Brockman Dies While Awaiting Tax Evasion Trial

Quote:
Robert Brockman, the multi-billionaire recently indicted in the largest-ever tax evasion case against an individual in the U.S., died Friday at age 81. The businessman, who founded the prominent software company Reynolds & Reynolds, suffered from Parkinson’s disease and dementia. His lawyers had argued his condition made him unfit to stand trail, but a court ruled otherwise, setting his trail date for February of next year. His attorney, Kathy Keneally, railed against that decision Saturday, saying the government had “wasted time and resources indicting a man who had progressive dementia and was terminally ill.” Brockman leaves behind a wife, son, brother, two grandchildren, and an estimated $4.7 billion fortune.

another right winger owning ultra partisan media, note he has a presnt russian wife.

wiki

Quote:
Herring married his first wife when he was 18; they had four children by the time Herring was 24. They divorced in 1977. Herring divorced his second wife in 1997.[1] He married his third wife, a Russian national, in 2000.[1][2] He lives in San Diego.[1]

Herring initially worked as a chauffeur and owned several pet shops. In 1972, he acquired a local circuit board factory and renamed it Industrial Circuits. In 1981, he hired Michael Reagan, son of then-President Ronald Reagan, as a salesman at Industrial Circuits.[1] Herring sold Industrial Circuits to Toppan Printing in 1988 for $52 million.[4][1]

In 1989, Herring created another circuit board company, Herco Technology, with his sons Charles and Robert Jr. as co-owners. In 1994, a Herco employee reported to his supervisors that the facility in San Diego County was illegally flushing copper, prompting an investigation by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). In 1995, Herring fired the employee, who sued Herco for retaliation and was awarded $78,400 in damages. In November 1997, Herco pleaded guilty to one count of pollution and agreed to pay a criminal fine of $170,000, following a report by a resident in June. For the next three years, the company received pollution violation notices for releasing copper, silver and cyanide into the environment.[1]

In 2000, the Herrings sold the company to Teradyne for $122 million.[1][5] After Teradyne's stock fell by about half in the next year, the Herrings sued the company, alleging that Teradyne executives had misled them during the negotiations. Teradyne denied any wrongdoing, saying that it had properly disclosed its finances prior to the deal and that market conditions had shifted. The Herrings lost the lawsuit.[1]

In 2003, Herring founded Herring Networks, a media network based in San Diego.[6] In 2004, Herring launched the cable channel Wealth TV (now AWE).[7] In 2013, the network launched One America News Network, a far-right[21] cable channel known for its pro-Donald Trump[31] coverage.[3][32][33][34]

Political activities

Robert S. Herring Sr. (born September 22, 1941) is an American businessman who founded Herring Networks, a media company that launched and currently owns AWE and One America News Network.[2][3]
