basic human rights old history. Our founders were out of touch and just plain wrong about slavery. They knew this was a human right and did not address it in the constitution. Thus at the time of writing they knew better. So the so called originalists who say the founders intent is critical say for guns, again there is no way of knowing weapons of mass destruction for even poor people. Most old age laws were for the protection of the ruling class.
this was written 4000 years ago... progressive laws such as minimum wage, right to be born a free man, the need to work off debts, and no incest... written 2000 years before the bible.

the previous to this found written laws were: The Code of Ur-Nammu is the oldest known law code surviving today. It is from Mesopotamia and is written on tablets, in the Sumerian language c. 2100–2050 BCE.
Basically had no progressive laws just punitive. |
