Hey...
I remember during the winter, you mentioned you would like some big sails for where you hang out and sail.
I got maybe 6 sails you can have for free bigger than 6.5 meters.
1. Windwing/Hansen Hammer 8.3, New.
2. Windwing mid '90's 7.8 4 camber Race B+
3. Loft 7.4 no cam, one c+, one b+.
4. Sailworks Retro 7.0, torn panel, otherwise c condition.
5. Loft 3 cam 6.6, b condition.
6 Loft 3 cam 5.8 b- condition.
Some smaller sails down to 3.7.. |

Hi Steve. Not forgotten. Logistics of distance & timing. I'm working on something. I'll PM you if it works out.

Yep, I guess the foil thing has made big sails pretty much irrelevant. I'd rather sail my foil board with a 5.3, than my old slalom board with a 7.4. |

Actually, shipping has made big sails hard to get. Foiling hasn't made bigger sails irrelevant because, surprise, before learning to windsurf foil in light winds most first need to learn to windsurf in light winds.
I'd rather sail both my foil board with a 4.7 or my slalom board with a 7.6 depending on how I feel. Sometimes I feel the need for speed, sometimes I just want easy.

As a relative beginner to wingfoil......
Given 12-20 mph winds, I can...
Windsurf fully powered on 6.0 and 100 liter board.
Windfoil 90% with 1150 foil and 4.5 sail.
Wingfoil 90% with 1500 foil and 5.2 wing.
Choices, all good. |
