Ya ultra-right winger trump longtime friend and head of trumps inauguration and in charge of ME policy for the trump family that netted him a 1.5-billion-dollar payoff to illegally influence trumps ME policy. Yep Barrak... Ya he posted a pittance 250 million dollars in bail. but what you do not hear in the media is about him everyday like you heard about Bidens son. and you do not hear people like Lindsay the hypocrit calling for a special counsel to see where that money went and how trumps son-in law got the 1.2 or so billion for his 666 project in deep do do. Again a gift, if one country was willing to spend as a starting point 1.5 gifting to a trump man and was willing to spend big money for trumps to win with social media.

Considering Binens team spent in the entire election about a billion and a half to win, how much did these ME countries actually spend in social media to try to stop Biden.

where is Linsy calling for investigation, I mean Bidens son was paid a million or two, and trumps son in law 1.2 billion and his best friend 1.5 billion.

Graham told Biden attacks on Hunter didn't satisfy Trump supporters: report

Quote:
Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) reportedly called President Biden after the 2020 election in an attempt to revive their long-standing friendship by saying his attacks on the president's son Hunter Biden had done little to appease Trump voters.

Lindsey Graham wearing a suit and tie smiling at the camera: Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) arrivers for a Senate Budget Committee hearing to discuss President Biden's budget request for FY 2022 on Tuesday, June 8, 2020.
The New York Times reported that Graham reached out to President Biden in mid-November, while the senator was also publicly supporting former President Trump's attacks on the results of the election. The Times cited three people familiar with the conversation who said Graham told President Biden that targeting Hunter Biden hadn't appealed to many Trump voters in his home state.

Last year, Graham called for a special counsel to be named to investigate Hunter Biden's business dealings in Ukraine and China, calling it a "good idea" to look into whether "any crimes were committed."

Though he was willing to work with any Republicans, sources close to the president told the Times that he saw attacks on his family as being unforgivable.

again Barrack was noted in the Mueller report that was not released about these matters and Barr never allowed any criminal charges though this started in 2016 before trump was elected.

we need to find the traitors that did not allow him to be charged.

Ex-Trump fundraiser worked to 'manipulate' public on UAE's behalf, prosecutors allege

Quote:
A federal prosecutor on Wednesday accused Thomas Barrack, a one-time fundraiser for Donald Trump, of leveraging his "unique access" to the former president to illegally act as a foreign agent on behalf of the United Arab Emirates in a trial that may illuminate some of the ways that foreign governments allegedly sought to curry favor with the previous administration.

Barrack, a billionaire California-based businessman and longtime Trump associate, has pleaded not guilty to charges that he acted as a foreign agent for the UAE from 2016 to 2018 and failed to register with Justice Department, which prosecutors say constitutes a crime.

The government also accuses Barrack of lying to the FBI during a 2019 interview about his interactions with the UAE.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Hiral Mehta, delivering the government's opening statement on Wednesday, told jurors that Barrack "tried to influence political system and manipulate the American public" for the "corrupt pursuit of money and power."

"When Donald Trump ran for president, the defendants saw an opportunity," said Mehta, who accused Barrack and co-defendant Matthew Grimes (who has also pleaded not guilty) of seeking to leverage their "unique access to Donald Trump to gain power and money for themselves."

Over the course of what is expected to be a month-long trial in New York, Mehta said jurors would see evidence in the form of text messages, business transactions and travel records proving that Barrack "acted as the eyes, ears and voice of the UAE" within the Trump campaign and administration.

Barrack kept his UAE interlocutors apprised of Trump campaign and White House deliberations, Mehta alleged, including "very sensitive and very confidential information" about the Republican Party platform and appointments to key political posts within the administration.

Michael Schachter, delivering the opening statement for Barrack's defense team, pledged to present evidence that would undermine the government's case and make it "impossible to conclude" that Barrack committed the alleged crimes, adding that Barrack "would never do anything to harm American interests."

"[The government's] accusations are nothing short of ridiculous. Tom Barrack was never under anybody's direction. Tom Barrack was never under anybody's control," he said. "Tom Barrack was his own man [and] said things because he wanted to."

Schachter also sought to politically distance Barrack from Trump, though he acknowledged that the two had known each other for 30 years. Schachter said Barrack privately disagreed with many of the Trump administration's policies, including on the southern border wall, and claimed Barrack had twice voted for President Barack Obama.

"Tom didn't work for Donald Trump and certainly did not control him," Schachter said. "This case is not about Donald Trump. It's not about your feelings or my feelings about Donald Trump."

Prosecutors and defense counsel spent Monday and Tuesday choosing 12 jurors and four alternates, who were sworn in and seated late Wednesday morning ahead of opening statements.

During the jury selection process, U.S. District Judge Brian Cogan questioned prospective jurors on a range of issues pertaining to the case, including whether any political convictions may cloud their ability to fairly evaluate the evidence presented to them. Cogan suggested that former Trump administration officials or the former president himself may appear in the case as witnesses.

One person who was eventually selected as a juror conveyed to the judge that she followed the 2016 presidential election closely and had strong feelings regarding Trump but assured the court that she could manage to those feelings aside in the spirit of fairness.

"I don't mean any disrespect to the former president," Cogan replied. "But if we exclude anybody who has strong feelings about the former president, we may not be able to seat a jury."

Trump's Former Secretary Of State Tillerson Says Unaware That Indicted Ally Was Privy To 'Sensitive' Discussions

Quote:
Rex Tillerson, who served as President Donald Trump’s first secretary of State, gave testimony in a trial involving the former president’s friend, Tom Barrack, on Monday.

What Happened: Tillerson became the first member of Trump’s administration to testify in the trial involving the close friend of the former U.S. leader, reported Politico.

The former secretary of state reportedly testified that he was unaware that Barrack was privy to “sensitive” internal discussions and that he never requested that the California billionaire act as a conduit between the United States and the United Arab Emirates.

“You don’t want outside parties to have that information and try to use it to their advantage,” Tillerson said during the talks.
Why It Matters: Tillerson said he was unaware that Barrack had allegedly communicated nonpublic information to someone outside the government.

Barrack is accused of being an “unregistered foreign agent,” according to a prior report. Prosecutors allege that he “met with and took directions from” the UAE for two years beginning in 2016.

U.S. law mandates that anyone operating under the control of foreign governments or foreign officials, other than diplomats, should register with the U.S. attorney general.

Lawyers for Barrack argued that he was not under the direction or control of anyone, according to Politico.

The attorneys reportedly laid out the case that officials within the U.S. government and potentially Trump himself were aware that Barrack was backchanneling with the UAE.

Trump himself is facing legal investigations regarding government papers seized from his Florida estate and it may delay his 2024 presidential run announcement.

How many pardons to his close associates did Trump issue? How many are still facing indictments and trials? Bard is all in on preventing that since Trump can't pardon the criminals any more.

Trump Ally Barrack Hid UAE Contacts From US Officials, Jury Told

Quote:
(Bloomberg) -- Tom Barrack failed to disclose key United Arab Emirates contacts during a six-hour meeting with the State Department to be considered for an ambassadorship under his friend, President Donald Trump, his interviewer testified.

Tom Barrack Jr., founder of Colony Capital Inc., center, arrives at criminal court in New York, U.S., on Monday, July 26, 2021. Barrack and U.S. prosecutors have reached agreement on a bail package that will allow him to be freed ahead of a trial on charges that he illegally lobbied the government on behalf of the United Arab Emirates, according to people familiar with the case.

Heidi Parsons, a State Department investigator, took the stand Wednesday in the Colony Capital LLC founder’s trial on charges he acted as an unregistered UAE agent, saying the purpose of the July 2017 interview was to determine whether Barrack would pose a national security risk as an ambassador.

During the interview, Barrack named close foreign connections including billionaire Saudi Prince Alwaleed bin Talal Al Saud, polo player Nacho Figueras and former Banamex Chairman Roberto Hernandez Ramirez, Parsons said. But he didn’t mention four men with whom federal prosecutors claim he worked to try to influence the Trump campaign and administration on behalf of the UAE.

The testimony came in the fourth week of a trial in which prosecutors have no recordings or testimony from insiders. Instead, they’ve largely based their case on emails and texts involving Barrack; his former assistant Matthew Grimes, who is also on trial; and Rashid Al Malik, his alleged go-between with UAE officials. Al Malik was charged along with Barrack and Grimes but is a fugitive.

Barrack never became US ambassador to Mexico as he hoped. Federal prosecutors previously showed jurors emails between Al Malik and a UAE official in which they expressed hopes that Barrack might become Trump’s secretary of state.

On cross-examination, Barrack’s lawyers referred to a 196-page report that he submitted to the State Department in which he disclosed foreign travel and meetings with scores of businessmen and world leaders. Among them were key officials at issue in the trial, including Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the de facto UAE ruler known as MBZ.

In his opening statement, Barrack attorney Michael Schacter said “someone who was really a UAE operative would not fill out a form that required him to disclose his meetings and dealings with Sheikh Tahnoun and the Crown Prince of the UAE to be considered for a job that would do nothing for the UAE.”

Parsons, a former FBI agent, said she had few memories of the interview, which took place at Barrack’s home in Santa Monica, California. She instead relied during he testimony on the report she drafted the next day. Barrack named 18 foreign nationals with whom he had close contact, including Mikhail Lesin, an adviser to Vladimir Putin who died in 2015, Parsons said.

She said Barrack declared that he did not have any connections to foreign countries, reported all contacts with foreign nationals and had no associations with members of foreign intelligence services.

Prosecutors also briefly showed jurors an email showing Barrack facilitated introductions of MBZ, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman and other Middle East rulers to Trump and his son-in-law Jared Kushner.
