I sailed Saturday 2/10/07 at Rivers End/Seal Beach, Sunday 2/11/07 at County Line. Both days very nice. No waves at Seal Beach, about 5 people out. I think most people were on 6.5s. Sunday at County Line the sets were about head high. Lots of kiters but only one other windsurfer. I was very nicely powered with a 7.0. I am so stoked to have sailed both days of a weekend in winter. Bring on the summer thermals!!!!! |

We had a blast at Cabrillo on Sunday. Some of the guys sailed there Saturday too but said Sunday was better. We had some pretty large sets coming in too. Thank God there was some space between them, or there would have been no getting out past them. I sailed a 7.5 KA Koncept (fast!!) and then went down to a 7.0 KA Kult when the wind picked up a bit more. Julio sailed my KA Kult 6.4 flattened out and said he had lots of power with it. The chop was pretty brutal out there! Got a good workout absorbing the bumps. Had a blast! Lets hope for an early summer! |

I looked at the wind graph for today at Leo Carillo. It looks like the average was over 20 mph for the whole afternoon. Must have been fun sailing. |

There is too much Poo in the water after it rains. |

That is why I sailed at County Line on Sunday after the rain. There is the Santa Monica mountain range between County Line and all the suburbs of the San Fernando valley. Unless water flows uphill (didnt last time I checked), I cant imagine there is much sewage in the rivers flowing out near there. I specifically didnt go to Cabrillo Beach because of that concern even though the wind looked better there. |

Glad you got to sail. Where did you sail and what were the conditions like. I wish I had sailed, but had to work. |

Cabrillo is generally not a concern after it rains. |
