Hey ya'll,

I want to give you a little sneak-peek of something I've been working on much of this year - an all new look and feel for WindSurfing.

The next issue is at the printer now, and should be arriving in your mailboxes within a few weeks.

Here's a link to the preview on our (also all-new) website:
http://windsurfingmag.com/features/2010/01/13/sneak-peek-windsurfing-magazines-new-redesign/

To answer a couple questions I've gotten already:

*Yes, the vast majority of cover shots will still be windsurfing action, not gear.

*Sanford's still here. But Cutbacks is an all-new Cutbacks.

Once the issue's out, and people have a chance to actually peruse the magazine at length, I'll happily take critique on the new look and layout.

I, for one, am happy to see the old logo go away.

Josh, I have a massive complaint to make...I don't have the magazine in my hands yet!!! Sad

The new look and feel looks good, I look forward to reading it. I will be checking my mailbox for the next few weeks.

Y'know, I've been spelling it that while my whole life, and despite having recently found it the accepted spelling is "y'all", my fingers refuse to type it like that. So it sticks. This <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Y'all> wikipedia article just wasted 10 minutes of my day...

That was a really fun session on Sunday, John. What's your sailing plan for tomorrow? I didn't get a new extension (or, for that matter, wetsuit) yet...

On paper, sail Cherie or Jetty as the wind is supposed to be S going SW. Sometimes, that means SE all day. I'd like to repeat that S 20-32 day that I sailed a month ago at Playalinda. 12 foot peaks and 8-10 foot shoulders breaking top to bottom forever. Had a couple of nearly "oops I crapped my pants" moments. My shorty was fine then, so it was a December day....

As usual, play it by ear is the plan.....

Pleased to see your magazine on the up again. We used to be able to buy it in the shops here in England, but it disappeared from the shelves quite a while ago.

Assuming it still won't be available here how would I subscribe to it? Presumably each issue could be posted to my home address, but would that be prohibitively expensive to have it flown across the pond?

It's really pretty simple. It's a contraction of "you all", not "youa ll".
