1995-95, I was living in Placerville and working at Berkeley Boardsports 3 days a week.
I often took my 9' Blue Hawaii long board to Chile Bar, riding the little 2-3 foot waves right in front, but on the other side of the river, from the kayaking store located there.
Had to share the wave with 3-8 other rodeo boat kayakers, but they got a good laugh from my antics too. We'd usually ride two at a time, one guy taking the rights, me goof the left. |
