vientomas,

And the difference between the abstract and the actual bill when it comes to its potential impact is??????

Your point is meaningless.

What is meaningless is the bullshit article you originally posted which attempts to place fear in the of the reader that California will be willy-nilly releasing hardened murders.

Your next meaningless act was to post the abstract of the bill, claiming it was the actual bill. There is a significant difference between the abstract and the bill. While it may be meaningless to you, as you like to sensationalize things perhaps to get a dopamine fix, the actual bill lays out all of the procedures under which a convicted murder might obtain some relief from the court. It's not an easy process.

If you took the time to read the bill, you might find the original article you posted, is in fact, bullshit. The devil is in the details of the bill, few of which are set forth in the abstract. Your entire post on this subject is meaningless.

I am astounded that you were a public educator. What did you teach? P.E.?

I resent that remark. I have three credentials: History, Math & PE. There is a fair amount of kinesiology my students have to learn in weight training.

It isn't the subject that isn't challenging, it's the teacher. There are bad teachers in every subject.

Coach G--all true. Fine motor skill development is a critical learning step, and involves more than physical abilities. I've worked with kids with pretty serious disabilities who made significant progress with physical therapy that crossed over the center line. Teaching the material is easy--reaching kids who are resistant, for whatever reasons, is an art form. If they are afraid, and masking it with bravado, they have trouble learning--or even believing that they can.

Techno belongs to an age, and a region, where all failures are the students fault.

A fair statement. My apologies. In fact, immediately after I posted the comment, I though that I should have stated: "No disrespect to Coach." I was too lazy to go back and edit it. My bad.
