GSA head (political appointee) of GSA lied to congress that the president ordered her to cancel the move of the falling apart FBI building. Why because it would have compteted with trump Hotel. The new owner of the building would have been able to put a high cost hotel there.

this is pure conflict of interest. and no other reason to lie and perjure oneself.

Will cost taxpayers 100s of millions and cannot house enough FBI employees.

Trump, GSA head caught putting Trump business ahead of taxpayers

Rep. Elijah Cummings talks with Rachel Maddow about e-mails that show Donald Trump's direct role in preventing the FBI from moving to a new building and leaving their old building to likely development as a hotel that would compete with Trump's.

Trump accuser's election bid is about more than #MeToo

Quote:
CLYDE, Ohio (AP) — It didn't take Bonnie Mock more than a minute to begin telling the woman asking for her vote just how fed up she is with President Donald Trump.

"First of all, there's the way he treats women," she said.

What she didn't realize is that Rachel Crooks — standing on her front porch as a first-time candidate for a seat in Ohio's Legislature — is one of more than a dozen women who came forward during the 2016 campaign to accuse Trump of sexual misconduct.

Most people Crooks meets while campaigning don't know about that part of her past, and she rarely brings it up. This is how a candidate born out of #MeToo tries to strike a balance in a conservative-leaning district, by sticking to issues such as health care and education funding.

"I'm proud to say I'm a female candidate and I would be the first woman to represent our area, but we don't go door-to-door talking about the #MeToo movement," said Crooks.

"I don't necessarily want to thrust my agenda or my opinions on other people. I want to hear from you first. That's how I perceive politics should be," she said.

Crooks, 35, is among a record number of women running for office across the nation, including some first-time candidates motivated by the 2016 election.

Democrats recruited Crooks to run a year after her accusations against Trump surfaced a month before he won the presidency. The former Trump Tower receptionist said she was 22 when she introduced herself to him in 2006 and that he kissed her "directly on the mouth" against her will.

Trump has denied her claims more than once, tweeting in February he didn't know her. "Never happened! Who would do this in a public space with live security."

U.S. veterans who stayed in the rooms were sometimes unaware of the Saudi government's role in funding the lobbying trips. These bookings fueled a pair of federal lawsuits alleging the president violated the Constitution by taking improper payments from foreign governments.

Florida Democrats want investigation into Trump cabinet member’s role in handling Epstein case

Florida’s Democratic members of Congress are demanding an investigation into what led to the slap-on-the-wrist punishment for Jeffrey Epstein, a wealthy Palm Beach resident accused of sexually abusing dozens of teenage girls.

The agreement that prevented federal prosecution of Epstein was overseen by Alexander Acosta, who was the U.S. attorney for the southern district of Florida at the time and is currently President Donald Trump’s secretary of labor.

The members of Congress want an investigation by the inspector general at the Department of Justice.

“Based on newly-reported documents and a group of brave women coming forward to share their stories, it appears that, as a federal prosecutor, Labor Secretary Alex Acosta gave a sweetheart deal to a wealthy and well-connected serial sex offender, and hid it from dozens of victims, some of whom were still coming forward,” U.S. Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, D-Weston, said by email. “The American people and the victims of these horrific crimes deserve to know why justice was not served in this disturbing case, and the lack of transparency still cloaking it is very troubling.”

Congressional letter seeking investigation into plea deal

Wasserman Schultz was the lead member of Congress on a letter seeking the inspector general’s investigation. It was signed by 10 other Florida Democrats, including U.S. Reps. Val Demings, Ted Deutch, Lois Frankel, Alcee Hastings, Stephanie Murphy, Darren Soto and Frederica Wilson, plus four other members of Congress from other states.

If there is not a “good faith investigation,” Frankel said Tuesday she and her colleagues would use the power they’ll get next month when the Democrats take control of the House of Representatives. Once they have power, she said the next step would be asking congressional committees with jurisdiction over the justice system and human trafficking — Judiciary, Oversight, and Foreign Affairs — to investigate the matter.

“This was an extraordinary plea agreement,” Frankel said Tuesday at a news conference in West Palm Beach.

Frankel termed the case “a very shocking sexual exploitation of young vulnerable women here in Palm Beach County” in which Epstein “allegedly had dozens and dozens of young, vulnerable women, young women taken to his house where they were sexually exploited. I think what has been equally shocking is what I call an extreme minimal punishment for this man without really any public explanation as to why this happened.”

Financier Jeffrey Epstein settles lawsuit, avoiding testimony by women in sex abuse case
Frankel said it’s conceivable there was a legitimate reason for the light sentence, such as Epstein providing information to the government about another case. “Was he given this very favorable deal because of his stature, his wealth, his contacts — or is there something more to it? And I think that’s what we want to get to the bottom of,” Frankel said.

Frankel said she was not calling for Acosta’s resignation. “No, I’m not today. We’re calling for an investigation.”

Epstein’s powerful friends included Donald Trump, now president, and former President Bill Clinton.

The letter from Wasserman Schultz, Frankel and the other members of Congress said they had “great concern” over the 2007 plea deal agreed to by Acosta who reportedly “gave a non-prosecution deal to a wealthy and well-connected serial sex offender, hid it from the victims, and granted immunity to any potential co-conspirators who were involved in the crimes.”

Instead of pursing the federal indictment that could have resulted in life in prison, “Acosta entered into an extremely preferential deal that resulted in this perpetrator of horrific crimes against children serving just 13 months in county jail.”

At his 2017 confirmation hearing to become Trump’s labor secretary, Acosta defended the agreement.

“Based on the evidence, professionals within a prosecutor’s office decided that a plea that guarantees someone goes to jail, that guarantees he registers [as a sex offender] generally and guarantees other outcomes, is a good thing,” he said at the time.

Billionaire hedge fund manger Jeffrey Epstein was given a sweetheart deal by Miami prosecutors to do just 13 months in jail for sex crimes against minors that could have landed him behind bars for life

President Trump's Labor Secretary Alexander Acosta allegedly played a critical role in securing a plea deal for for the billionaire accused pedophile Jeffrey Epstein to serve just 13 months behind bars over breakfast with Epstein's lawyer, a former colleague.

Despite Epstein, 65, facing a 53 page federal indictment that could have seen him in prison for the rest of his life, the billionaire instead quietly did 13-months behind bars in the Palm Beach County Jail.

He was handed the sweetheart deal sentence a decade ago in 2008.

The Epstein deal was developed over a breakfast between Miami’s then-top federal prosecutor, Acosta, and a former colleague, Washington, D.C., attorney Jay Lefkowitz, according to the explosive three-part report in the Miami Herald.

According to the Miami Herald, Acosta and Lefkowitz met for breakfast at a Marriott in West Palm Beach where they discussed Epstein's case in seclusion.

The Herald say they agreed a deal that morning, which was called a non-prosecution agreement and which would also be kept secret from other victims.

The agreement effectively shut down an FBI investigation into whether there were other sexual assault victims.

Prosecutors alleged the minors would be lured with the promise of a couple hundred dollars to give an older man a massage. According to police, the victims have for the large part all told the same stories.

He would be ready for the massage before things turned to a sexual nature. Some of the alleged abused victims were sexually assaulted.

Trump's current Labor Secretary Alex Acosta (right) was the top federal prosecutor in Miami that allegedly brokered the deal to have Epstein serve just over a year behind bars where possibly over 100 sex crime victims were involved. Otherwise, Epstein could have been facing life behind bars

Avenatti: Trump should be indicted for committing 'felonies designed to get him elected'

Quote:
Michael Avenatti, the lawyer representing adult-film actress Stormy Daniels in her lawsuit against President Trump, said Saturday that Trump should be indicted "for committing the two felonies designed to get him elected."

“.@realDonaldTrump should be indicted for committing the two felonies designed to get him elected. Now," Avenatti tweeted. "No court has ever ruled that the POTUS cannot be indicted and there is nothing in the constitution that states as much. It is time for the SCOTUS to decide the issue.”

https://www.patheos.com/blogs/progressivesecularhumanist/2018/12/report-president-donald-trump-is-an-adderall-snorting-speed-freak/

New information indicates President Donald Trump is a “speed freak” who likes to snort crushed-up Adderall pills before public appearances.
Quote:

Noel Casler, a former staffer on The Apprentice currently working as a stand-up comic claims that Trump was a “speed freak” who snorted Adderall. During a recent performance caught on video and widely shared on Twitter, Casler details Trump’s abuse of Adderall as well as his lust for teen beauty pageant contestants.

In the video Casler explains that he worked on The Apprentice for six seasons, and also worked on some of Trump’s beauty pageants during the 1990s.

Casler told the audience about Trump’s boorish and obnoxious behavior towards teen beauty pageant contestants:

I worked on a bunch of those beauty pageants he had in the ’90s, too. That was a good idea, Miss Teen Universe? Yeah, that’s like giving Jeffrey Dahmer a cooking show. He would line up the girls on the side of the stage, and he would inspect them. Literally, he would stick his little freaking doll fingers in their mouth and look at their teeth,” Casler said. “I’m not kidding, this is true, he would line them up like they were pieces of meat. He’d be like, ‘You, you, and you, if you want to win I’m in the penthouse suite, come and see me.’ If Trump had a cooking show they’d call it “The Douchebag Diet.” McDonald’s, chocolate ice cream and girls that look like Ivanka are all he ever eats.

Casler then went on to explain that Trump was a “speed freak” who “crushes up his Adderall and he sniffs it because he can’t read, so he gets really nervous when he has to read cue cards.” Casler explained:

He’s a speed freak. He crushes up his Adderall and he sniffs it because he can’t read and he gets really nervous when he has to read cue cards. I’m not kidding. This is true. I had a 24-page NDA, non-disclosure agreement. I didn’t know then he was becoming president.
