Here is my 19 Transit. Its set up to be a multi purpose vehicle for windsurfing, Moto track days and camping.

Nice van setup! It would be easy to put a cargo fence behind the seats, so your masts or boards don't go thru your windshield (or head) if you stop suddenly.

By contrast: my old van setup. 1972 Dodge Tradesman 200. Inline 6 to 3-spd column shifter. Auto-recline front seats (front seat bolts rusted out, so just lean back a bit!)

Some of you in Hood River in 1990 may recognize this unholy beast of monoxide. Sweet "Cape and Islands Arson Hotline" sticker on back bumper.

The rack was not worth anything except holding single-piece masts. All else fit nicely inside. We slept on top of everything when unable to afford the bridge toll after a night at River City, providing a swift walk to work at Sailboard Warehouse after a night in the Paris Fair parking lot.

Bill is on the right in his parents' NH driveway. I'm the other guy wearing pants.
