Looks like we could see the effects of Dorian in Northeast Friday/Saturday. Depending on the track will either be heading towards Southern NJ or towards Cape Cod.
Cross my fingers that he heads further north than east.

Anyone here actually planning to sail Jersey coast?
Fx dropped since Monday - can go further south now.
I'm thinking Brigantine Inlet on Friday (tomorrow). If it weakens even more, maybe Corson or Hereford inlets.

Why you so attached to inlets? Ocean most likely will be big mess. _________________ Andrew

i'm not (really). But what's a protected place to get out if ocean is indeed a mess? Inlets kinda work, depending on specifics.. Jetties work if wind is sideshore.
Personally I don't think it is a mess yet, but probably will be by mid-afternoon tomorrow.
Anyhow, where are you thinking of going? Aroad/LaurelB area? |
