Ezzy Hydra or Sailworks Flyer?

I'm using the Ezzy Elite wave sail for foiling. Mostly on 4.7 or 4.2 in winds that you would need a 7.0 to windsurf. Been doing this for 2 seasons now and it still amazes me how little wind foiling take to fly. I don't care how fast I go but I go plenty fast on my gear. There 7 regulars foiling, 6 on 4.7 Ezzy wave sails an one on a Flyer 5.5 We all seem to fly in the same winds and go about the same speed. I know that body weight, foil size and skill make a different.
Me personally would rather pump hard and be on the smallest sail possible. I want the pull to go away when I sheet out and have power on when I pull in.
Wave sails are designed to breath like this. This flex in the sail really allows me to scoop up some air, pull hard on my back hand and scoot the board up on the foil. I want my foiling days to be as simple and easy as possible. Including rigging and de-rigging, ease of use and soft smooth sail rotation and handling. That is why I choose cam less sails. Just ordered the new 2020 Ezzy Hydra sport 4.7. Check it out on line. If you guys are interested in my opinion I'll post....

I also find raf sails much more powerful to pump
Cam sails stay fully drafted.
A raf starts flatter, pumped to full shape like crammed sail, then goes flat giving a longer stroke with good pumping technique.
But the bigger question is...what FOIL is being used.

NOVAAN - would be really interested in your thoughts on the Hydra - to me, it seems a lot of sense and very sound in design. It is inverting the wide point and removing twist or as much draghting - it looks weird but so does foiling the first time you see it. I think the design has legs and will not end up on the same page as the football fin of the 80s.

Novaan sorry got excited there, you are going for the more conventional "sport" - I would be interested in your thoughts on a smaller sail in this style. I am really curious about the Hydra Pro as well - as I said, it looks weird but has some solid design ideas behind it.

Another sail to look at is the HSM no cam Superfly.

Personally I foil with HSM QU4Ds rigged very tight (they do this well). But for very light wind I prefer cams since they seem to glide much further in lulls.

Type of foil and intended use are vital missing information

My foiling just got his 2019 5.5 Hydra that has the long foot batten. When I get a chance I will give it a ride and compare it to the sport.
I think that foil guild in a lull is more about wing size than sail size or cams.
If your in a no wind hole all the sail does is create drag.
