Bake fest yesterday at San Luis all day pretty much.
Weed are becoming a factor now even though the water was
High. One guy trying to foil he was getting up for a short
time suspect weeds were a factor in the limited success.

Hope its better today. Graph has been solid this morning.

Maybe tomorrow and the Next Day.
Fog is thicker in Santa Cruz today.
Charts and current wind make it look possible.

Well a nice day at The Lake. Arrived around 3 p.m. and all the folk there (5) on the north side were Santa Cruzans. I think that State Park Local thing must mean that Santa Cruzans are automatically accepted as locals at this park.

Several folk asked about you Charles. All surprised you were not there. Even Dave from PA sailed over from the other side looking for you.

More folk kept rolling in from Santa Cruz County. Pretty obvious no wind on the Santa Cruz coast.

I rigged a 4.7 and used it from 3 to about 6. Never had to change sail size. Did change boards, but did so just to check out their differences. Either one worked. However, I did enjoy the JP FSW in those conditions over the Quatro.

Never blown off the water. 4.7 was just right for me. Wind felt like low to mid twenties with some gusts to high twenties. Maybe a gust or two to 30. I lost my wind gauge so had no on-site readings from that. The rotating light on the hill was red, but I think it goes to that color at 20 mph.

Well, if it is going to be good for three more days, you had better get out there....or someone might report you missing! Wink

It seems like if conditions are good, your presence is expected....
