You want to make sure that your foot straps are completely dry when you get to the front gate. I'll sometimes put my board on the roof rack to dry it out. I've also driven out there with my foot straps right in front of the passenger-side vents and the heat and fan cranked up all the way on that side (probably doesn't work that well for cars without separate driver and passenger temperature controls) |

There were one or two guys that checked sails last year.
I ended up buying a quiver bag and had them tag it to.
My surf beater died and the car I currently have does not
allow the quiver bag to work. I haven't had any problem
with the people at the gate this year most of them know me.
Also this is the only place I have sailed this year.
If my foot straps were a little damp I thought about taking
them off never had to as they were always dry by the time I
hit the sandwich shop at Dunnville.(blow dried on racks without
a bag)

The board gets planing quickly especially when my feet are further back. I run the mast track way back. Foot straps are in furthest back position. I also have my front straps on the inboard set up. |

I have the mast track as far back as it will go with a Euro Plate.
I think I will try moving the Front Straps Back as the stance is
kind of wide with every thing in the forward position.(and inboard
as well) Thanks |
