I bought a snowfer a few years ago, just pop a windsurfing rig on and go!
I haven't used it much so it's for sale in the classified section under boards if you're interested.

a while back (actually way back), the New England Windsurfing Journal published plans for ice/snow setup. A couple of downhill skies, mounted (with a slight angle) to a 30'' x 40"" (appositely) piece of 1" plywood. Add mast base and go.
Been using this rig for quite a while. Works best when the ice has a snow covering.

To Joethewindsufa,
What is the reason for the triple layer in that contraption? Seems like one of the three at any time for the given conditions, but three stacked? Please elaborate....
Regards,
W1
