Hmm.....
Where to go today, high tide at noon, big ebb, big ocean swells.
Bodega? Currently 24 at buoys, should hit by 1pm
Tomales? Hate to be 1st there and blaze the trail.
Bay? Doubt it gets in that light outside.
Stay home and stay warm?
OB? Prolly too big for old folks.

Surfline shows thick ocean fog in SF.
Usually this tends to wind inside the Bay.
1st thermal? |

For years, living in Fairfax I was the first to Tomales. Nothing wrong with having that place to yourself for a few minutes!

I passed.
Remember the sheriff hassling windsurfers last year?
As was, wind hit 16 at Grassy for only 2 hours....just didn't come in.
Bodega lasted 2, but under 20.
I missed the N wind event M and Tues., hope someone had fun. |

Tuesday I sailed Crissy in the am 4.0 and 85l wound on the North wind. biggest N day I can remember w/ nice swell to ride between Anita and Blackcaller. Some shore pound and straight onshore wind. Some people were having trouble getting off the beach. However, one could just walk west a bit past Anita where the sand bar juts out and launch there easily.
I winged the pm sesh at Crissy on NE wind 4m Unit and Sky Wing 5'4" w/ HA 1750 foil. Was really nice. _________________ Kevin Kan

Good you got Tuesday. I recall lots of days when sailors were caught in the shorepound.
Little progress for me winging. Yesterday Marina Bay in 6-13 on SUP with Ss front dagger got a run and back dry and upwind. Ready for foil. |
