Twas pro windsurfers using wave boards and 3.7's in Miami, local cops came by to see what was going on. Shorepound in on-slight side wind was true 8', so only the pros could make it out.
Much bigger than the Russian vid.

That was probably me and Sav1 you saw. We’re not pros, but thank you for the compliment.

Maybe it was this day, prior year...I had stayed at a Holiday Inn the night before.

Do the waves always get that big in Miami after staying in a Holiday Inn?

Like clockwork, every time after staying in a Holiday Inn and the date is March 28th,2019.

Maybe dllee has a time machine that we can use every time we get tired of the weak winds weak waves or no wind no waves we get 365 days of most years?

Personally I hope that the rest of this thread ignores dllee and instead focuses on the Pyro and what its strengths and weaknesses and wave sailing attributes are.

And if the rest of the thread focuses on whether the Pyro is a solution for typical Florida wave sailing conditions I will be even more grateful.

Well, Capt himself decided to reference Waddel, and who else here on this forum has logged over 100 days there?
Either know what you know or listen to other's who have the experience......your choice.

Those are solid, intimidating 5' waves, but not nearly the stuff shown on that windsurf mag of pro sailors.

What I can tell from the pics is all of the rocker seem to be in the last 10" of the tail. It does seem more moderate than the Nano which is a good thing. SAV1 you say it is easy to pearl which would have something to do with the compact shape 221cm is pretty short. The most striking feature is the width and thickness of the tail a big trend in wave boards these days. I imagine it is very back foot specific perfect for Florida or Europe. Looks like you got a great board for where you sail. Congratulations!
