Very unlikely there will be weed's this time of year,
this is day one for 2021 for me.
but I always take a weed fin.
There will be a quaka mussel inspection your boards
must be dry.
I had a big write up in the 2020 San Luis thread about where to launch.

http://www.iwindsurf.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=34648&highlight=2020&sid=174b9bb1a515bc3f0ec7015a6e788ae5

See page 2 in the above thread. about 6 entry's down is the map.
and the relevant data.

Got there to late meaning Noon.
Slogging session on a 5.7 and 115 liter.
Two on the other side.
O Niel Forebay Water Level Fine.
San Luis Res looks half full the way it does half way through
the Summer.
The normally Green Hills this time of year are only half Green.

Got there a little after 12 It looked good and was trending up.
Rigged a 4.7 and was powered on my wave board but it didn't last.
And I weight 230 post Covid pandemic. ( I didn't get it but I sat around and
medicated myself wtih food)
Dropped off to about mid 5's with lulls at time which I don't get because
the chart looked solid now upon review .
6 people from Santa Cruz there .
It came back up around 4 most people where on around 5's at that point.
It was nice when it was on not gusty and there are no weeds.
Most people also reported they had to wait in line to get in.
Tommrow's graph has a big midday dip.
Maybe Monday?

Great seeing the crew for opening day at the Res. No weeds at all so I put the Drake Pointer on the Race board. Went crazy fast with a 5.3 and could have rigged down to a 5.0 later. Cold springtime conditions but still not as cold as the coast.
