The North Pacific High is still AWOL but the NW winds from a tiny high pressure near WA state become stronger. At the same time, the low-pressure centered over Las Vegas moves close to the Bay Area creating a strong pressure gradient over Sacramento and through Pacheco Pass near San Luis Reservoir. Marine layer clouds push almost to Sherman Island in the early AM and so expect strong winds there. Very strong WNW winds at 1000 feet aloft scour out the fog fast and make for GUSTY winds on the coast and from Treasure Island southward and Sherman Island.

Every one on 4's and smaller.
Kind of up and down and a little gusty at times.
Very Cold and the Water level was real High.
6 to 7 people from Santa Cruz on the North side
and David was sailing from the South side.

By the way the 152 senor has been bad since last summer
direction and magnitude is way off at times .

Put up a 4.2 and stayed on it all afternoon.
Larry , Bill and Kathy also there.
A little gusty at times but filled in for the most part.
It was cold though.
Not sure if it's happening tomorrow or not.

Did the Friday 2/23 after 2 PM session- there were 5 of us out on the west side and 1 out on the east side. Everyone on their small gear- 3.7s to 4.2s. I was on an 82l board with a 4.3. Lake level was super high. The wind was really steady for such a windy day, none of those feeling like you're going to ripped off your board gusts, Just steady really windy. Also, pretty flat for the amount of wind. It may have been due to a little more west in the wind, or the super high water. But normally you get some pretty chunky conditions when it starts hitting 4.0.
It wasn't at all warm; but ok with the ocean wetsuit.
