trumps attorney on fox is as dumb as it gets.

First does not know that the pictures in that photo were set there to take pictures of evidence and is standard proceedure that will be an exibit in a court proceeding. She thinks it is there as trumps normal office. What a dumb f and so are the fox hosts thinking the same... man are they friggen dumber than a rock, ie righy wingers.

Next she really adds to the case that the information in these documents were at risk. She tell us that Trump had all kinds of visitors in his office all the time.... So she proves that they were not in a secure setting.

dumb as they go...

Trump Attorney's Eye-Popping Claim On Live TV Sounds Like A Confession

Quote:
An attorney for former President Donald Trump seemed to admit that the highly sensitive documents seized from Mar-a-Lago when the FBI executed a search warrant last month weren’t kept in the most secure of settings.

In fact, Alina Habba said on Fox News on Wednesday that the files were kept in an office where Trump “frequently” had guests.

pedophile el trumpo said he declassified all documents, yet he then filed a motion that a special document master be appointed. But his error is he said that person needs a top secret clearance and higher.

So which is it they are or are not classified. hahahahah liar liar pants on fire...

also note he has not made the claim he declassified the documents in any court filings to this date because... well that would be under oath

hahahahahaha

Also here is a former FUX right wing judge commentator.

Trump certain to be indicted soon — for a crime he said should be punishable by death: ex-Fox News legal analyst

Quote:
Donald Trump appears likely to be indicted, according to former Fox News legal analyst Andrew Napolitano, for a crime the former president believes should be punishable by death.

The conservative former judge said it pained him to write his analysis for the Washington Times, but Napolitano said the redacted affidavit that justified the search warrant for Mar-A-Lago revealed that Trump was unlikely to escape prosecution for three crimes: "Removing and concealing national defense information (NDI), giving NDI to those not legally entitled to possess it, and obstruction of justice by failing to return NDI to those who are legally entitled to retrieve it."

"Under the law, it doesn’t matter if the documents on which NDI is contained are classified or not, as it is simply and always criminal to have NDI in a non-federal facility, to have those without security clearances move it from one place to another, and to keep it from the feds when they are seeking it," Napolitano wrote. "Stated differently, the absence of classification — for whatever reason — is not a defense to the charges that are likely to be filed against Mr. Trump.'

Napolitano faulted Trump for "misreading and underestimating" federal investigators and delivering them a gift by boasting that he had unilaterally declassified the documents in question, which proved that he knew the documents were in his possession.

"He committed a mortal sin in the criminal defense world by denying something for which he had not been accused," Napolitano said.

Prosecutors must prove the documents actually do contain national defense information, and they must prove that Trump put them into the hands of individuals not authorized to handle them and stored them in an non-federally secure place -- which Mar-A-Lago is not -- but proving obstruction is fairly easy under a law signed by George W. Bush in 2002.

"But the Bush-era statute, the one the feds contemplate charging Mr. Trump with having violated, makes it a crime of obstruction by failing to return government property or by sending the FBI on a wild goose chase looking for something that belongs to the government and that you know that you have," Napolitano wrote. "This statute does not require the preexistence of a judicial proceeding. It only requires that the defendant has the government’s property, knows that he has it and baselessly resists efforts by the government to get it back."

That left Trump in "hot water," Napolitano wrote, and he said the former president was left without a "legally viable" defense.

"In a monumental irony, both Julian Assange, the WikiLeaks journalist who exposed American war crimes during the Afghanistan and Iraq wars, and Edward Snowden, the former National Security Agency employee who exposed criminal mass government surveillance upon the American public, stand charged with the very same crimes that are likely to be brought against Mr. Trump," Napolitano wrote. "On both Mr. Assange and Mr. Snowden, Mr. Trump argued that they should be executed.Fortunately for all three, these statutes do not provide for capital punishment."

Karl Rove tells Fox News that Trump wasn’t allowed to take papers from White House: ‘It’s verboten’

Quote:
Former George W Bush administration adviser Karl Rove tore into Donald Trump on Wednesday for taking sensitive White House documents to Mar-a-Lago, saying the former president had “no right to do so” under the law.

“Let’s be clear on this. None of these government documents are his to have taken,” Mr Rove said, interrupting a host on Fox News who referred to some of the documents in question as belonging to Mr Trump.

“A lot of the former president’s problems are of his own creation,” the Republican politico continued. “Under the Presidential Records Act of 1978, you cannot take original documents out of the White House when you leave, whether it’s the president of the United States or any of his aides. It’s verboten under the law.”

Trump Bragged He Had ‘Intelligence’ on Macron’s Sex Life

Quote:
ON THE FBI’S list of documents seized from Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate, item 1a is listed solely as “info re: President of France.” For Trump, that has been a subject of intense — and tawdry — interest for years.

Specifically, Trump has bragged to some of his closest associates — both during and after his time in the White House — that he knew illicit details about the love life of French President Emmanuel Macron, two people with knowledge of the matter tell Rolling Stone. And the former president even claimed that he learned about some of this dirt through “intelligence” he had seen or been briefed on, these sources say.

It’s not clear whether the Macron-related document the FBI seized during the raid had anything at all to do with the French president’s personal life. Nor is it clear whether the information on Macron seized from Mar-a-Lago is derived from U.S. intelligence collection or even classified.

But the mere revelation of its existence triggered a trans-Atlantic freakout, according to two other sources familiar with the situation. And Trump’s prior talk about Macron’s allegedly “naughty” ways that “[not] very many people know” only intensified those concerns. Both French and U.S. officials worked to figure out precisely what Trump had on Macron and France’s government, and if any of it was sensitive in nature, the sources said. The officials in both nations wanted to know if this discovery signified some kind of national-security breach — or if it amounted to a frivolous, but stolen, keepsake.

A spokesperson for the French embassy told Rolling Stone that their inquiry had not included asking the Biden administration for information on the documents recovered from Mar-a-Lago.

In his musing on Macron’s alleged indiscretions, Trump was light on details and specifics, according to the sources. And as a notorious gossip peddler for decades, it’s difficult to know if any of what he says is grounded in reality. “It is often,” one of the sources says, “hard to tell if he’s bullshitting or not.”

A Trump spokesperson did not respond to questions from Rolling Stone.

Trump’s relationship with Macron has often been volatile, with the U.S. president once labeling his French counterpart “my guy” before the two fell out during Trump’s time in the White House.

Trump initially signaled his support for Macron’s 2017 presidential rival, inviting far-right nationalist Marine LePen to Trump Tower and praising her in interviews. But Macron shrugged off the flirtation with his rival and invited Trump as the guest of honor to a Bastille Day parade in 2017. Trump was so taken with the elaborate military pageantry on display that it inspired him to ask for a military parade of his own.

By 2019, tensions between the two men and their worldviews burst into the open. After disputes between the two leaders over Iran, Syria, and NATO, Trump could be heard blasting Macron as a “pain in the ass” to a White House gathering of international ambassadors to the United Nations. Trump’s former White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham also wrote in a memoir that Trump had privately called Macron a “a wuss guy” and “a hundred twenty pounds of fury.”

And the latest incident isn’t the first time Trump has fixated on salacious gossip about the private lives of foreign leaders, associates, and hangers-on.

As Republican rivals J.D. Vance and Josh Mandel vied for his endorsement in the Ohio GOP Senate primary, Trump personally spread rumors he’d heard about Mandel’s sex life and described the candidate as “fucking weird.” And Trump’s decision to endorse Vance was nudged along by a rumor Trump heard from Fox News star Tucker Carlson about a prominent Mandel supporter’s allegedly “chronic” sexual habit.

During the 2016 presidential contest, Trump briefly ducked into his campaign “war room” and teased mid-level staffers with some alleged intel — on a pair of MSNBC hosts who weren’t yet public about their romance. “You know, nobody else knows about it, but I know about Joe and Mika’s little apartment in the Upper East Side,” he gossiped, referencing Morning Joe hosts Mika Brzezinski and Joe Scarborough, whose long-running relationship would soon become public. “One day, I’ll tell you all about it.” Trump didn’t even know these campaign staffers’ names, but felt comfortable dishing this to them.

Trump’s fixations extended to foreign leader’s families, as well. Grisham wrote in her memoir that, after seeing Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on TV aboard Air Force One, Trump once pulled her aside and made a crass assertion about the sex life of the Canadian prime minister’s mother — an assertion that left Grishham baffled.

In his conversations with his associates, Trump didn’t offer an explanation of how American spies acquired the supposed Macron dirt he claims to have seen. But the U.S. intelligence community has become much more cautious about spying on close allies over the past decade.

Revelations about American eavesdropping on former German Chancellor Angela Merkel prompted the Obama administration to severely restrict intelligence collection on allied heads of state. Under a 2014 directive known as PPD-28, the Obama administration forbade eavesdropping on the leadership of “close friends and allies” absent “a compelling national security purpose.” After reviewing the order in 2017, the Trump administration announced that it would continue to abide by the Obama-era orders.

Nonetheless, intelligence about foreign allies can still be swept up in the intelligence community’s broad collection of secrets through more incidental routes.

“While PPD-28 certainly constrained the degree to which the US would intentionally and directly collect on certain allied heads of state, there are plausible scenarios by which insights about them might be indirectly gleaned via collection against adversaries and their networks, human or technical,” one former Trump White House official tells Rolling Stone.

F.B.I. Found 48 Empty Folders That Had Contained Classified Documents at Trump’s Home
A detailed inventory of items seized in the F.B.I.’s search of Mar-a-Lago raised the question of whether the government had fully recovered the documents or any remained missing.

Quote:
WASHINGTON — The F.B.I.’s search of former President Donald J. Trump’s Florida club and residence last month recovered 48 empty folders marked as containing classified information, a newly disclosed court filing shows, raising the question of whether the government had fully recovered the documents or any remain missing.

The filing, a detailed list of items retrieved in the search, was unsealed on Friday as part of the court fight over whether to appoint an independent arbiter to review the materials taken by federal agents from Mr. Trump’s estate, Mar-a-Lago, on Aug. 8.

Along with the empty folders with classified markings, the F.B.I. recovered 40 more empty folders that said they contained sensitive documents the user should “return to staff secretary/military aide,” the inventory said. It also said that agents found seven documents marked as “top secret” in Mr. Trump’s office and 11 more in a storage room.

The list and an accompanying court filing from the Justice Department did not say whether all the contents of the folders had been recovered. But the filing noted that the inquiry into Mr. Trump’s handling of the documents remained “an active criminal investigation.”

The inventory also sheds further light on how the documents marked as classified were stored haphazardly in boxes or in containers, mixed among news clippings and “other printed media,” articles of clothing, books and “gift items.”

The inventory listed seven batches of materials taken by the F.B.I. from Mr. Trump’s personal office at Mar-a-Lago that contained government-owned documents and photographs, some marked with classification levels up to “top secret” and some that were not marked as classified. The list also included batches of government documents that had been in 26 boxes or containers in a storage room at the compound.

In all, the list said, the F.B.I. retrieved 18 documents marked as top secret, 54 marked as secret, 31 marked as confidential, and 11,179 government documents or photographs without classification markings.

A federal judge in Florida, Aileen M. Cannon, ordered the inventory list to be released during a hearing on Thursday to determine whether to appoint a so-called special master to review the government records seized from Mar-a-Lago for any that could be privileged. Judge Cannon said that she would issue a written decision on the matter “in due course.”

Mr. Trump appeared to acknowledge on social media this week that he knew that much of this material was at his estate, complaining about a photograph that the Justice Department released on Tuesday night that cataloged some of the evidence that had been seized.

Trump 'devoured' intel briefings as he sought 'leverage' on allies he disliked: report

Quote:
Donald Trump's intelligence briefing habits while in office were the subject of a deep-dive by The New York Times published online on Thursday evening.

"As president, Donald J. Trump showed the most interest in intelligence briefings when the topics revolved around his personal relationships with world leaders and the power available at his fingertips," the newspaper reported. "Mr. Trump’s appetite for sensitive information is now at the heart of the criminal investigation into his handling of hundreds of classified documents he kept at his Florida home after leaving office."

Trump was particularly focused on his counterparts on the world stage.

"Mr. Trump devoured intelligence briefings about his foreign counterparts before and after calls with them. He was eager to deepen his relationships with autocrats like Kim Jong-un of North Korea or Xi Jinping of China and to get leverage over allies he took a personal dislike to, such as Chancellor Angela Merkel of Germany, President Emmanuel Macron of France and Prime Minister Justin Trudeau of Canada," The Times reported.

A document identified as having information concerning Macron was listed by the FBI as having been recovered from Mar-a-Lago.

"With many world leaders, Mr. Trump, whose own dalliances were the stuff of gossip columns for years, was fascinated by what the C.I.A. had learned about his international counterparts’ supposed extramarital affairs — not because he was going to confront them with the information, former officials said, but rather because he found it titillating," the newspaper reported.

Trump had reportedly bragged to friends he "knew illicit details" about Macron's sex life.

Trump May Have Sold Classified Documents, Should Be 'Arrested': Kirschner

Quote:
egal analyst Glenn Kirschner said Friday that former President Donald Trump might have sold classified documents that were found missing from dozens of empty folders with classified markings that were retrieved by FBI agents who searched his Florida residence last month.

"The most reasonable inference is that Donald Trump disposed of those classified documents after unlawfully taking them from the White House," Kirschner said in a video posted on YouTube. "To what purpose did he put them? Did he sell them to America's adversaries? Did he use them to blackmail people? Did he use them to leverage a favorable business deal in some country or another? We don't know yet."

Friday's unsealed inventory list, that showed what the FBI retrieved during their search at Trump's Mar-a-Lago residence, included a total of 48 empty folders with "classified" banners. The inventory list also included empty folders labeled "Return to Staff Secretary/ Military Aide."

"I suspect we will learn exactly what Donald Trump did with those classified and military documents," Kirschner said. "But one thing I do know...is there is no legitimate argument. There is no persuasive argument. There is no compelling argument against arresting Donald Trump promptly."

Kirschner said in a tweet on Friday that "things just went from bad to worse to unfathomably dangerous" after the empty classified folders were found. Meanwhile, former U.S. attorney Harry Litman tweeted that the ex-president might have "riffled (sic) through the classified docs to see what he had."

"This undoes the image of just scooping them up along w/ shirts and M&Ms and keeping them in boxes," he added.

Additionally, the inventory list that was unsealed showed other items taken from the White House that FBI agents recovered during their raid, including government documents with and without classification banners, clothing items, articles, and books.

Federal Judge Aileen Cannon, who ordered the unsealing, is currently considering a request by Trump's lawyer to have a special master appointed to oversee the review of the documents that were retrieved in the raid.

Trump has repeatedly said that he didn't do anything wrong by keeping those documents, while his office said that he had a "standing order" to declassify those documents, an explanation that former Department of Justice (DOJ) official Mary McCord doubted, saying that he had no authority to do so after leaving office, according to Reuters.

The ex-president and his allies have denounced the Mar-a-Lago search, which was carried out after the approval of Attorney General Merrick Garland, and suggested that it was politically motivated.

Newsweek reached out to Trump's office for comment.

JUST IN: Ex-Trump Chief Meadows Turned In New Batches of Texts and Emails After FBI Mar-a-Lago Raid

Quote:
Trump White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows has turned in new batches of texts and emails since the FBI raided Mar-a-Lago, according to CNN sources.

The former chief has been more forthcoming since the search of Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort home, which is part of an investigation of Trump for crimes involving the Espionage Act.

According to a new report from CNN’s Jamie Gangel, Kristen Holmes, Jeremy Herb, and Evan Perez — entitled “After Mar-a-Lago search, Meadows turns over more texts and emails to Archives” — Meadows stepped up his cooperation with the National Archives after the search, coincidentally or not:

Within a week of the FBI search of former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort, former White House chief of staff Mark Meadows handed over texts and emails to the National Archives that he had not previously turned over from his time in the administration, sources familiar with the matter tell CNN.

Meadows’ submission to the Archives was part of a request for all electronic communications covered under the Presidential Records Act. The Archives had become aware earlier this year it did not have everything from Meadows after seeing what he had turned over to the House select committee investigating January 6, 2021. Details of Meadows’ submissions to the Archives and the engagement between the two sides have not been previously reported.

“It could be a coincidence, but within a week of the August 8 search on Mar-a-Lago, much more started coming in,” one source familiar with the discussions said.

seems trump last minute appointed federal judge is breaking the law... She is now talking from both sides of her mouth. She is delaying the case of very serious issues to appoint a special master. This special master as requested by the trump people needs to have a top level security clearance. WHY if everything is as Trump claims already automatically declassified by his stoke of what he says. To find such a person if no one is agreed upon to get a proper security clearance can take many many months. The fact that this judge does not take this as the logical admission of guilt is supporting treason, so she is involved in treason herself.

Also since trumps tax records have already been subpoenaed by another case, if those were not sent to that prosecutor she again is aiding and abetting a criminal as he would be in violation of that case too. She should be charged with obstruction for not ordering those documents sent to that prosecutor that has a grand jury order in place.

Trump Is Getting the ‘Special Master’ He Asked for in the FBI Mar-a-Lago Case

Quote:
A federal Judge has granted Donald Trump’s request for a “special master” to review the documents seized during the FBI’s search of his Mar-a-Lago residence.

Under the Monday ruling from Judge Aileen Cannon, the “special master” will assess which documents may be protected under attorney-client privilege or executive privilege. Specifically, Cannon wrote, the ruling “authorizes the appointment of a special master to review the seized property for personal items and documents and potentially privileged material subject to claims of attorney client and/or executive privilege.”
