Updated title and body of this thread - Since first posted, Coyote is open on weekends for now.

Initial closed notice here from weeks past. "Rather surprized I am the first to post this one, Coyote is closed for a minimum of two weeks, maybe more. I spoke to a ranger there yesterday. Trees down and no power due to the crazy wind lately he said. Check the top of this page before driving there for open or not."

It is opened on the weekends now. But I talked to the park ranger manning the entrance yesterday, and he said he was told that the parking lot is only going to be open on the weekends for months. Seems pretty ridiculous to me, since there are no trees, much less fallen ones, in that area.
