Only until I cash it all in and dump my stashes. I remain amazed how many WSers have abandoned the weedy launches on the Columbia because of the ever-increasing weeds, when good weed fins not only ignore weeds but also perform as well as or better than most wave fins even in weed-free Gorge conditions.
Weeds? What weeds? |

I used to go to South padre in April. The first time without weed fins.
I had to buy some while down there. I was surprised how well they worked. After I learned not to kick them |

Yeah, they seem to work as well as wave fins for all windsurfing while smoothening the arc radius in jibes.
Blades are better in upwind speed. |

The 28cm Black Project weed works well from 3.7 to powered up 6.0 sails, on narrow 85 liter boards. |

You could mention any specific features of the fin that make it desirable, such as its construction materials or ideal wave conditions.penalty shooters 2 |

So I got this fin for a trip to South Padre Island. Back injury canceled that trip.
My local spot does not require weed fins. Hence never use. All my fins for local sailing are Black Project. They are great fins and each works well. Fast, point high, and almost never spinout. Easy to recover if you do... |
