Sensor Notes
This sensor is positioned at the end of a 200 ft fishing jetty which extends westward into the Sound. Speed and direction are measured appox. 20 ft above the waterline, temperature and barometer are measured in a building at the end of the jetty. This position allows excellent fetch from N,W and S winds w/ E'erly direction only slightly blocked.
