What time were you there? I wanted to come but didn't get out of work til 3, then I decided it might repeat at Bullhead. NOT. So tomorrow, I'll go to the big T no matter what.

Tomales today - very nice. I got a late start, got on the water at 4:45 and sailed til about 6:15. Mostly powered on a 4.0, but I would have been better on a 4.5. Swell was really nice considering it was an all-day sucker. |

SI yesterday, really filled in about 5 pm. Sunny, warm, 4.8, decent swell. Today could be a repeat. |

Finally a good day outside of the Golden Gate Bridge, launching from Crissy. However it started ugly, with a mad dash down to between Alcatraz and Angel Island, just as I arrived it punted. Schlogged back to the beach, powered by a proverbial slew of expletives, where a minor melt down ensued. After a couple dozen Zen moments I went back out, this time heading upwind to the bridge, and fully powered for a change. Outside the bridge I was slightly underpowered on 4.7 @ 85L but there was good, head to logo high swell both at the North Tower and later clear on the outside. Apparently it was even better earlier but I was tarty to the party. |

we were pretty throttled back and idling at that point just trying to go slow and keep the boat under control. |
