I've done lots of hike in surfsailing in NorCal, and some of the guys would forget their skinny shims. Socks work great, t-shirts torn in half also, aquarium/pnuematic tubing from a hardware store too. |

Best shims I ever had from hardware store, transparent plumbing flexible soft (I think PVC) with grid pattern fibers, about a dollar a foot. dhmark |
