Hi Everyone. I'm coming back to windsurfing after a lloooooonnnnnngggg break, which probably makes me a beginner all over again. Are there any windsurfers in the Los Angeles area that would like to go out? I'm guessing Castaic Lake would be my nearest non-ocean water (I'm in Woodland Hills) but I'm happy to travel. Thanks! Post this on the Southwest, Hawaii Mexico category which is where all the southern CA people post.

as long as we have water (things are looking grim for the fall!), Lake Isabella is a great place to get your sea legs back! As well, there is someone (moi) who can help out with the inevitable glitches when putting old gear back into service. We have a Facebook group ("Lake Isabella Windsurfing") with everything you need to know about sailing here

Alamitos bay in Long Beach is a common beginner spot. |
