For those who have forgotten why: https://www.foxnews.com/politics/us-supreme-court-peter-navarro-former-trump-white-house-adviser-report-prison
Just a tidbit about his prior experience at complying with election laws.
Quote: | While teaching at UC Irvine, Navarro unsuccessfully ran for office five times in San Diego, California.[12][35] In 1992, he ran for mayor, finishing first (38.2%) in the primary, but lost with 48% to Susan Golding in the runoff.[48] During his mayoral campaign, Navarro ran on a no-growth platform.[49] He paid $4,000 in fines and court costs for violating city and state election laws.[4] |

Michael Cohen just blew the entire case apart as he spent the later part of the morning talking about Trump’s knowledge of the Stormy Daniels situation. According to him, Trump didn’t care about the story being embarrassing because he only cared about the campaign.
This testimony contradicts the entire indictment, because the prosecution says Trump wanted to hide the story for campaign gains, but the checks to Cohen came after he was elected.
He claims Trump said that if he wins, the story will no longer matter, but also claims Trump paid him as “legal fees” to hide the affair in 2017.
Which is it Michael? |

Ha ha ha. Your ears must get full of sand burying your head so deep in the ground to not hear any evil about Trump. Have you been right yet? |

when Moscow malibu barfie talks a ignoramus is smelt.
guess you were listening to FUX and whores the rapist lying network owned by an australian who allowed his so called fake journalists to hack dead people phones illegally. the guy who argued that people should not believe FUX because it lies in court.
anyway, what you missed is why Trump was trying to not sign the deal with his porn star (well one of them, as we know Melania was working in the USA and lying to enter the USA to work illegally in the porn industries how she too got her start) Anyway he ordered Cohen to stall the agreement till after the election so he would just not enter into a deal because he said after the election if he wins he does not care if it comes out, and if he loses he does not care either.
But Stormy blew a fuse with her lawer davison 4 days before the election telling him she will sue him because if the deal does not go through till after the election she loses all leverage. Davison then gives Cohen the ultimatum and the deal is signed/done you dumb as a rock moron. And once signed did you know people pay contracts after being signed as well as trump then owed Cohen repayment you dumber than a rock stupid pediophile rapist lover. again Davison as well as Stormy said this under oath as well as Cohen. _________________ when good people stay silent the right wing are the only ones heard. |

In case you are interested:
Quote: | The $130,000 Trump and Cohen paid to silence Daniels is not actually illegal in itself: “Hush money” agreements that both parties enter into consensually, in which one party pays money to stop the other party from revealing information, are actually perfectly legal in themselves, University of Pennsylvania law professor Tess Wilkinson-Ryan told Slate.
In Trump’s case, he’s not being charged with making the payment itself or reimbursing it, but has only been indicted on 34 counts of falsifying business records, based on the fact that his reimbursement payments to Cohen were allegedly disguised as legal payments.
The alleged crime that Trump’s been charged with, falsification of business records, is typically classified as a misdemeanor under New York law, but is elevated to a felony when it’s done to facilitate another crime. That’s what prosecutors are alleging here—all 34 counts against Trump are classified as felonies—with Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg arguing that the allegedly falsely labeled payments were done to cover up other crimes, including Cohen’s campaign finance crimes and alleged tax issues, as the payments to Cohen were falsely characterized as income rather than repayments. |

Of course there is no source, and no context. |

Techno's source is Forbes. Here is what he elided from that report in his mania to claim that Trump has done nothing wrong.
Quote: | Hush money payments can be illegal if they’re done to cover up a crime, or if it’s not a consensual agreement, such as in the case of blackmail or bribery, Wilkinson-Ryan noted. |

No defense, and there are dozens of knowledgeable sources that say the same thing. You guys are the uniformed and have your heads stuck in the sand. I chose Forbes because it made the points succinctly. Show me a source that contradicts what Forbes said if you dare! |
