Sailwave, was that left going? I was wondering on sailable days if the surfers all head left leaving the right open for sailing?

Any reports from 3rd ave or Candlestick or the Coast on our alleged "epic" NW wind yesterday? I was in the East Bay and saw/felt none of it.

It was pretty windy on the Peninsula yesterday... wind was a bit up and down, but I had a good time at Coyote on 3.7 and 81l. Could've also had an equally good or better time on 4.2... not quite sure.

It was flooding a bit, so a couple guys who rigged small got into some trouble. Luckily people were looking out for each other and everybody eventually made it in safely... one on the rocks on the hill and one all the way on the other side in the Marina.

Since yesterday was shaping up to be a somewhat classic NNW blow, I ditched work and drove to Tomales. I thought it might actually be crowded. LOL. I was the only one - windsurfing or otherwise. Very windy (35+). Pretty short sail - didn't really care for being the only one around and OP.

Was anyone there earlier? Anyone?

Allot of driving and only a little sailing for me yesterday. Went up to Dillon with friends but forgot about low tide, oops. But it was windy to say the least; one guy out and OP’D on 3.7m but looked really good on the outside. Backtracked to Tomales, where it was very windy but flooding and got a refresher course in survival sailing for an hour, totally OP’D on 4.2 and 69L. Bagged it and hauled ass back to the city for a last chance sesh at Crissy but was denied with extreme prejudice. In retrospect, should have gone to DPort/Waddell yesterday, today, tomorrow, and the next day. Very Happy

Super clean swell and juicy mid-20s under Point Blunt this afternoon. Mid-session quote from one happy customer, "It's like a dream!" It really was.
