LeBron James Sued by Alleged Father in Possible DNA Cover-up Scandal
By Brandon Ribak (Featured Columnist), Bleacher Report
July 16, 2010
Quote: | While LeBron James officially made his "decision" on live T.V., his mother is possibly regretting a "decision" that she made 25 years ago.
News broke out roughly a week ago regarding to a possible DNA cover-up scandal in which a man named Leicester Bryce Stovell attempted to prove that he was the father of "all hail mighty" LeBron James. (Great timing!)
Stovell is accusing LeBron and Gloria James of tampering with the DNA evidence and is now seeking $4 million from the James family, claiming fraud, defamation, and misrepresentation. |

I never heard of this Lebron James dood until he got famous for not knowing where to play ball (I'm rapidly figuring out that he plays basketball somewhere, professionally I presume). HE'S A JOCK in a sport rife with criminals; who cares what or where he plays? I hope he's a better role model than most of his peers, like that Jordan guy seems to be.

Lebron James lives and works outside the Tri-Cities area so it's expected that you haven't heard of him.
The remaining comments I leave for others. |

Not knowing or caring about something has never stopped Mike from having an opinion - and publishing it. I believe that's the very idea of posturing. _________________ florian - ny22

The fact that Mike Fick is just getting to know Mr. James is remarkable. Obviously, the guy(ISOBARS) spends a lot of time on the internet, and watches a ton of FoxNews. Therefore he has been exposed to LeBron is heavy doses since he was in High School, seven years ago. so, there is two explanantions (1) he is playing the too cool to care about TV sports because I am an avid outdoorsman rap , or (2) he is a wacked out nutjob detached from American life, living in the Tri-cities. Geez, even my mom who doesnt own a TV was asking me about where LeBron was going to play next year. Good Job Mike, on equating NBA players with criminals, you're a real swell fella! |

Count on Mike to make a thinly-veiled bigoted comment--equating black players in the NBA with criminals and thugs. Many comments could be made that would be thoughtful, but we wouldn't expect that from someone who only listens to Fox. It's kind of amusing that he didn't echo any of the right wingers screeds about how un-American soccer is. Sore losers?
I played basketball until I was 53, including with several NBA players in pick-up games where they were desparate for a 10th player. A great game, requiring much more athleticism and intellect than America's sport, football. I love them both, but the martial aspects of football (A collision, not a contact sport) appeal far more to the military mind of folks like Fick. |
