Wow! Those are some great prices on good boards. Too bad I don't need a new(er) board. _________________ Kansas City |

Adventure sports advertise on this site all the time. (They pay for it in a banner ad) So I have no problem with them speaking up once in a while on the forum. |

I thought about this myself, the forum is the forum and advertising is different.
BUT people post things ALL the time just like this, so in all our interest the more communication the better. _________________ K4 fins

I'm with Bard on this. There will always be folks that play it close to the margin. Promotion works at all levels. If it's done well, and not too frequently, I think folks can generally benefit from the input. If these businesses are advertisers already, it's easy to be soft on the rules. |

Hi guys, I'm a beginner kitesurfer and I want to say that unfortunately, I don't have a club for this activity in town, although the right infrastructure is there. That's why I would like there to be local education about this kind of activity. That's why I want to organize online webinars, one for one state town and maybe more. They will be free chat events, and if anyone would like to support my idea, please post! |

Two of us founded and legally chartered the Utah Windsurf Association in 1982, long before the internet existed. It's still a viable group, having morphed into its broader-based name, Utah Windriders Association. Maybe they can give you some tips.
Ya gotta start from grass roots ... i.e., nothing ... and work your way up. The web should make it a lot quicker and easier. |
