Always had hard time finding a full wetsuit for my wife. She's got good curves Any wetsuits of the proper length are too tight at the chest and hips.
E.g. O'Neill Women's Epic 4/3mm Back Zip Full Wetsuit, size 10.
I saw in the charts size 12S but they are not available anywhere.
If standard sizes do not work, is there an option to have one custom tailored?
Thank you!
Andrei.

Pro Motion for customs.
Oneill and Rip Curl are 5'9" x 128 lbs. at size 10.

Thank you! Not the weight at that height is the problem for her but the body shape.

Promotion can alter any of their wetsuits for a custom fit. They can also build a completely custom suit but that can get be pretty spendy.

We have had great luck with Promotion Wetsuits as you can directly talk to either Chris or Will and they have been there for years and knows the inventory as far as stock and fit.
My wife in her 5/3 Promotion full suit, I believe the size was a 12s and plenty roomy

I always buy my wet (and especially dry) suits looser than what I see everybody else wearing. That goes double for today's super-stretchy, wrist-entry (well, it SEEMS that way) suits. The stupid neck entry is a major hassle even with oversized suits, the extra stretch adapts to a wide range of bodies, and the neck/wrist/ankle cuffs still seal just fine. Suits don't need to be TIGHT, just form-fitting and with good cuffs, to keep the water where it belongs.

If she needs a 12 S, she is not a candidate for a Rip or Oneill size 10.
She must be 140+ lbs.

Annoying part is that for the same size and model it changes over years.
Just replaced my 15 year old full 4/3 with the same make/model... it is not only much tighter but the neopren is thinner, collar is lower, even the zipper pull strap is shorter and narrower (LOL). They are saving on the materials. Shame!
