.synopsis...low pressure 29.60 inches over iowa will move 
northeast and deepen to 29.30 inches crossing the great lakes 
early wednesday. the associated cold front will sweep across lake 
erie wednesday afternoon and early evening. a weak surface low 
29.90 inches will move east across lake erie thursday evening. 
high pressure 30.50 inches from the plains states will cross the 
ohio valley friday and move to the carolinas by saturday.

.synopsis...high pressure of 30.20 inches will continue to shift 
east of the region today. meanwhile...low pressure will deepen to 
29.30 inches as it tracks from the mid missouri valley today to near 
lake huron by early tuesday morning. surface troughing will persist 
across the central great lakes wednesday into wednesday night in the 
wake of the low pressure system. high pressure will then build into 
the region from thursday into friday.
