waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.synopsis...cyclonic flow from a 29.2 inch low over the canadian 
maritimes along with a 29.4 inch low that will track southeast 
across the great lakes through wednesday will keep a wintry like 
pattern in place. a 30.5 inch surface high will then expand across
the lake later thursday through friday. a 30.12 inch northern 
stream wave will track across the lake on saturday as a stronger 
sfc low tracks along the coast.

30 knots. snow showers likely this morning, then more widespread

to 6 to 9 feet. waves occasionally around 11 feet. 
.tonight...southwest winds 15 to 25 knots becoming west. a chance
of snow showers early. waves 6 to 9 feet subsiding to 3 to 5

.wednesday...west winds to 30 knots with frequent gale force
gusts. scattered flurries in the morning, then a chance of snow
