1/3 of the wave spectrum. occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.synopsis...a 30.9 inch high over the upper great lakes will 
build across the great lakes today. an area of low pressure will 
track northeast across the central great lakes and then to the 
east just north of lake ontario saturday into saturday night, 
deepening to 29.4 inches in the process. this low will then move 
east along the saint lawrence river sunday before moving into the 
canadian maritimes by monday.

southern lake michigan saturday morning to around 29.40 inches
saturday evening over northern lake huron. gusts to gale-force
will be likely across the central great lakes with gale warnings
up for lakes huron, st. clair, and michigan waters of erie.
