waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.synopsis...a weak 29.8 inch low just north of lake ontario 
will drift across the lake tonight before dissipating tuesday.
meanwhile a 30.5 inch high will remain centered across northern
quebec tuesday through wednesday. a ridge of high pressure
averaging 30.2 inches will build from the western great lakes
wednesday to the central great lakes thursday, then to the 
eastern great lakes by friday.
