for waters beyond five nautical miles of shore on lake ontario

waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.synopsis...a weak cold front will cross the lake this evening. a
weak 30.2 inch ridge of high pressure will then build across the 
ohio valley and mid atlantic region on wednesday. a 29.4 inch low
is forecast to move from the ohio valley thursday to off the 
jersey shore by early friday morning. meanwhile a 30.2 inch high 
will build from near lake superior thursday night to the central 
great lakes and western quebec friday before reaching new england
saturday. the high will strengthen to 30.5 inches during this
progression.
