1/3 of the wave spectrum. occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.synopsis...a 29.6 inch low over northern lower michigan will 
deepen to 29.4 inches by the time it reaches georgian bay 
wednesday morning. this system will push a strong cold front 
across the lake wednesday morning. the storm system will weaken 
over the saint lawrence valley wednesday night, while a deep 
coastal storm will develop off new england. the strengthening 28.9
inch low will move to the canadian maritimes thursday and friday 
as a 30.0 inch high crosses the ohio valley and upper great lakes.
this high will then build across the mid-atlantic states on 
saturday.
