for waters beyond five nautical miles of shore on lake ontario

waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.synopsis...cyclonic flow from a 29.2 inch low over the canadian 
maritimes along with a 29.4 inch low that will track southeast 
across the great lakes tuesday and wednesday will keep a wintry
like pattern in place. a 30.5 inch surface high will then expand 
across the lake later thursday through friday. a 30.12 inch 
northern stream wave will track across the lake on saturday as a 
stronger sfc low tracks along the coast.

.rest of tonight...northwest winds 15 to 25 knots. a chance of
snow showers. waves 5 to 8 feet. waves occasionally around
10 feet. 
.tuesday...west winds 15 to 25 knots becoming southwest. lake
effect snow showers likely. waves 3 to 6 feet building to 4 to
7 feet, then subsiding to 3 to 6 feet. waves occasionally around
9 feet. 
.tuesday night...southwest winds 15 to 20 knots becoming west.
lake effect snow showers likely. waves 4 to 7 feet subsiding to
2 to 4 feet. waves occasionally around 9 feet. 
.wednesday...west winds 15 to 25 knots increasing to 35 knot
gales. lake effect snow showers likely. waves 3 to 6 feet
building to 8 to 12 feet. waves occasionally around 15 feet. 
.wednesday night...west gales to 35 knots becoming northwest and
diminishing to 30 knots overnight. snow showers likely. waves
10 to 14 feet. waves occasionally around 18 feet. 
.thursday...northwest winds to 30 knots diminishing to 10 to
15 knots. a chance of snow showers. waves 10 to 13 feet subsiding
