.synopsis...high pressure 30.10 inches over lake michigan will
move slowly east across the lake today reaching the east coast of
the us overnight. a warm front will lift to near the south shore
of lake erie tonight. this boundary will direct low pressure 
29.70 inches eastward across northern ohio thursday night. high
pressure 30.00 inches will move from the midwest to the central 
great lakes saturday afternoon, the next strong storm system will 
arrive saturday night with low pressure deepening to 29.40 inches
saturday night.

average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will
occasionally be encountered.

.synopsis...

high pressure of 30.1 inches will exit the western great lakes 
today. expect increasing southerly winds this afternoon into 
tonight with the highest winds over the north half. this is in 
response to low pressure in northern ontario around 29.4 inches 
bringing part of the frontal boundary across lake superior. this 
cold front will slide down lake michigan thursday and bring a 
chance for showers and maybe even a weak thunderstorm. northwest 
winds will become gusty on friday. the next chance for gales is 
saturday night into sunday as low pressure tracks across northern 
il or the wi/il border. this low pressure system still has a bit
of uncertainty with it but has trended north in recent runs.
