.synopsis...a front will become nearly stationary near lake erie
through the weekend as low pressure 29.70 inches over the central
plains progresses northeast into the great lakes by monday. the
low will move into quebec tuesday as the front drops south of the
lake as a cold front. high pressure 30.40 inches will build over 
the upper lakes wednesday.

is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the
average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will
occasionally be encountered.

.synopsis...a cold front has pushed south of the lake early this
evening...and will become stationary overnight as low pressure of
29.5 inches over the southern plains slowly moves east. the low 
will reach the mid mississippi valley saturday afternoon while 
weakening to 29.7 inches. this low will very slowly track 
northeast across northern illinois on sunday and central lake 
michigan sunday night. a second area of low pressure of 29.6 
inches is expected to develop over the south high plains sunday 
morning track east to the middle mississippi valley monday 
afternoon.
