highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. occasional wave height is the
average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.synopsis...a 30.3 inch high pressure ridge extending north to 
south across the western great lakes this morning will reach the 
lower great lakes by this evening. meanwhile, a 29.8 inch low 
pressure trough over manitoba and the dakotas will sweep east, 
crossing lake superior tonight. following this trough, a 29.4 inch
low pressure over southern manitoba wednesday morning will weaken
to 29.7 inches as it tracks across northern ontario wednesday 
afternoon through thursday. its associated trough will cross lake 
superior late wednesday night and thursday. on friday, high 
pressure of 30.2 inches will build into far northern ontario while
low pressure of 29.2 inches tracks northeast to the lower great 
lakes. the northern ontario high will then extend a ridge south 
across lake superior on saturday.
