.synopsis...low pressure will exit east tonight as strong high
pressure...30.50 inches...builds over the northern and central great
lakes. the high will remain over the area on saturday before moving
east late saturday night. low pressure passing through ontario will
then drop a frontal boundary over lake huron early sunday...where it
will remain until another low pressure system passing through the
great lakes draws it southward monday and monday night.

is the average height of the highest 1/3 of the waves...along
with the average height of the highest 10 percent of the waves
which will occasionally be encountered.
.synopsis...high pressure of 30.4 inches over ontario and the
western great lakes...will continue eastward to james bay and the
central great lakes by saturday morning. farther west...low
pressure of 29.5 inches over southern saskatchewan and another low
of 29.4 inches over south dakota will merge into a single low of
29.5 inches over lake winnipeg by saturday afternoon. this low
will track east...dragging a cold front slowly down lake michigan
sunday and sunday night. yet another low of 29.8 inches is
expected to develop over the central plains monday morning and
then track eastward...just south of lake michigan monday night as
high pressure of 30.3 inches builds across the northern plains.

continue to pass a 30.4 inch ridge eastward across the upper great
lakes through saturday morning. meanwhile 29.5 inch low pressure
developing over the northern rockies will track to near lake
winnipeg by saturday afternoon. the low will then shift eastward
across far northern ontario on sunday and push a 30.0 inch trough
across the upper great lakes late saturday night through sunday. a
30.1 inch high pressure ridge will quickly move across lake
superior sunday night into early monday...ahead of the next quick
moving 29.8 inch low pressure system sinking across the great lakes
region from the northwest monday afternoon into monday night. expect
30.2 inch high pressure over central canada and the northern plains
tuesday morning to drift toward the upper great lakes on tuesday
afternoon and settle over the area on wednesday.
