.synopsis...a weak front just south of lake erie will move back 
northward today and tonight as weak low pressure averaging 29.90 
inches moves through the central great lakes. meanwhile, high 
pressure, averaging 30.40 inches, over western quebec will continue 
to the east coast today. on monday, a larger system over central 
canada will bring greater weather impacts to the great lakes during 
early next week.

is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the
average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will
occasionally be encountered.

.synopsis...high pressure of 30.4 inches over southeast ontario 
will move east off into the northwestern atlantic by monday 
morning. meanwhile, low pressure of 29.2 inches over northwest 
territories will deepen slightly to 29.1 inches as it moves to 
hudson bay monday night, then continues east to quebec tuesday. a 
cold front trailing southwest from this low will move across the 
lake tuesday morning. high pressure of 30.3 inches over the 
northern plains tuesday afternoon will move east into the western 
great lakes wednesday. new low pressure of 29.6 inches will 
develop over the central and southern high plains wednesday night 
with a warm front developing northeast from that low northeast to 
lake michigan.

will move southeast into southern quebec this morning as it 
strengthens to 30.4 inches. the region will then be influenced by 
weak ridging of 30.1 inches through monday morning before a 29.5 
inch trough moves through the upper great lakes late monday and 
into tuesday. a high of 30.2 inches over the central plains will 
then impact the region on wednesday before a strengthening low 
pressure of 29.5 inches pushes out of the rockies over to the 
plains on thursday.
