patchy dense fog will develop this evening across portions of
western and central wisconsin. visibility may drop to 1/2 mile or
less at times, especially along ridge tops. if traveling this
evening, slow down, use low beams, and allow extra time to reach

areas of fog should should continue tonight and may become dense
in spots later this evening and overnight. in addition, drizzle is
expected at times through the night which may freeze on roads,
bridges, parking lots and sidewalks later tonight into early
saturday morning as air and road temperatures drop to around the
freezing mark. even if air temperatures are a few degrees above
freezing, the cold pavement temperatures may still create some
icy spots.

if you have travel plans tonight into early saturday morning,
slow down and allow extra time to reach your destination. if 
you encounter dense fog, use your low beam headlights. for

light rain or drizzle will continue across much of upper michigan
through this evening before diminishing by midnight. the moisture
from the rainfall along with potential for drizzle or freezing 
drizzle overnight combined with temperatures falling into the 
lower 30s tonight could lead to slippery conditions on untreated 
roads. if traveling later tonight into saturday morning be aware
there could be icy spots on untreated roads.
